Iirc, trudeau said we citizens can buy ukrainian war bonds that pay back in like 10 years. I assume that for those war bonds, it goes: citizen -> war bond -> money to canada -> money to ukraine. Meaning i would think cashing in on the war bonds in 10 years would go; ukraine -> canada -> war bond -> citizen? But if ukraine can’t pay back citizens for war bonds, does the canada gov just foot the bill?
