Did they have it painted or are they sold in black? I think I’ve only ever seen them in stainless.
Pretty sure they only come from the factory in the unfinished stainless steel; but I’ve seen plenty that are wrapped or painted. Shit, I saw one the other day that was anodized (or at least had that look) the most disgusting green I’ve ever seen.

I think I remember when they wanted to use lasers to clean the windshield.

Imagine it erroneously registering a minor crack caused by a piece of gravel, then relentlessly pulsing at it again and again, and the laser reflects several places including the direction of your fucking face, and it just won’t stop.
