Sorry, man. You should know better than anyone that News communities aren’t for shitposts. You’re no greenhorn, so YDI.

I dunno why you don’t just put this stuff in your own namesake community. You’d almost certainly get subscribers who would love a regular feed of your particular brand of satire.

A satirist who breaks no rules is hardly a satirist at all; satire is in the mockery of all power, just and unjust, major and minor. It is in ridicule of even right that wrong is shown to be absurd. Just as good (or at least effective) powers must enforce these rules, so too must a good satirist break them.

Of course, Chad isn’t a satirist, but a brave hero fighting against the deep state, so that’s just an off-topic aside

Poor Chad, he just wants to get the truth out there, but gets nothing but hate from most folks. He’s arguably the Fox Mulder of our modern times.

thank you for keeping that weird tangent brief

also i maintain that i broke no rules and in fact it took me an hour to write it because nearly but not quite breaking all 7 rules was hard work

I mean, you may not have broken the rules technically, but I don’t think mods of a serious community care about how close you can get to the rules without breaking them.

I respect your (admittedly strange) craft, but it’s why I say you should just make your own news community. I think people would welcome a little levity.
