I needed a physical kitchen scale. Went to the 2nd hand shop. This was the only scale.

I bought it on the spot. Hell yeah.

    Beautiful.

I was at a thrift store and saw a box labeled “kitchen wonder!” It was a mandolins from the 70’s before America knew about them I guess. I still have it in the box, even though I’m usually a stickler for efficiency. It’s just too enjoyable to have to pull out the “kitchen wonder”.

It “Makes your food more charming and delicious!”

I like it. Wouldn’t give up being able to move ours around, but that is cool.

      Wall mount, yeah.

Either weigh produce directly, or put in a mixing bowl for liquids and set to 0 with that wheel. The tray can be also be removed for cleaning if something spills.

        Wall mount, yeah

This thing looks cool as hell.

Does placing items near vs far from the wall not affect the reading? Seems like the added leverage could cause issues

Testing with a milk carton, doesn’t seem to. The whole clear plastic part and everything behind it also moves downward when weighing, and that movement is measured against a wall hook, so leverage should play a minor role.
