Yall mf act like you live in medieval castles or 200 year old family estates instead of some 30 year old mass produced house that can be literally replicated anywhere in the planet. Get a grip on reality, seek out medication if necessary.

You seem to be assuming that everyone is living in a cookie-cutter house in the suburbs. I live on a rural property in a home that’s been renovated a few times but was built when my grandparents would have been children. We have spent more time than you can imagine improving the property and the house, and “adopting” as our own after what it probably a long line of homeowners in the past. Everything in my life that matters is here; my family, my hobbies, countless good memories. It’s more than an object, an investment, or just a place to keep my things; it’s my whole life.

There are very few things in life that truly matter. I hope that for your sake, you can one day find a home that matters to you the way mine does to me. If you do, you’ll understand why no amount of money is worth leaving. Money can buy a lot of things to make your life better, but it can’t buy happiness or fulfillment. Having even a multiple of what my property is worth wouldn’t come close to making my life anywhere near meaningful. I know exactly the place in the world where I’d rather be than anywhere else, and I own it.

I live on a farm that’s been in the family for a couple generations. It isn’t much, but it’s peaceful. Why are you raging so hard over this? Wherever this anger is coming from, I hope you get it sorted out. Such a weird hill to die on
