    Danielle Smith and the conservative party in Alberta is going to ruin one of Canada’s greatest landmarks for fucking coal.

    They’re living in the stone age while everyone’s already picking up nuclear and renewables like there’s a firesale on hot cakes.


    This is so goddamn infuriating, Albertans please reconsider who you vote for.

    These capitalist vultures will level landmarks and literal mountains if it can earn them a cent.

    Cool, so you’re going to be upping the reclamation bonding for all mines?

    You’re going to make them demonstrate equivalent land capabilities, and meet water quality target#?

    If we want to protect taxpayers, we should actually expropriate the assets and tell the mining companies to kick bricks. I’d rather take the $16B hit than have to scrape selenium crust off my teeth whenever I take a sip of water.
