When I joined fedi, privacy on ml seemed like decently robust community but I would posit that endless modding of anti China and Russia sentiment really chocked the air out of it.
Similar thing is happening on .world too

Not happened yet, but I made a comment on an .ml /c just a little while ago that I fully expect to get me at least a /c ban if not a full instance ban 🤣
Banned for Rule 4 last week. Haven’t used their community in 9 months so my guess is one of the mods parents forgot to microwave their chicken tendies that day and thus decided to take their frustration out on me.
