In Richmond they are allowing infill homes on the lake. There is one about a km from my house that is being built right now. It sits in the transportation right of way (55’ from yellow line) and the boundary for the lake (there is about 20’ between the back door and the lake). There isn’t enough land to support a house but it’s there on land that never existed until buddy dumped soil in the lake. This is not the only one going up right now.

What a crock of shit preparing for sea level rise. If you know the right person you’re all good as per normal in Cape Breton.

          I was gone for 20 years. I’ve been back for 10. Nothing changed except perhaps it’s moved backward more.
