They want trans people out of Texas, fine. I took my non-binary ass to Portland this summer along with my Master’s Degree in Math and my 17 years of teaching experience. I hope Texas enjoys every bit of its brain drain. Oh, and both my trans teens are moving here within the next couple years for college, as well. Fuck that fucking shitass state.

Just a bachelor’s degree in cs, not a master’s, but I’m also joining the brain drain by moving to Colorado in a few months. If they’re gonna be so hostile to me, I’m out.

Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition, to wit: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.

The American definition of conservative and liberal stopped following fiscal policies decades ago, with both major parties. It only refers to some social aspects now, and even that’s a stretch at times.

Not sure it is sadly. A lot of people still think that those descriptors apply… In large part because of the media’s complicity in spreading any falsehood they’re fed in exchange for maximum revenue.
