Just playing around with the camera adapter for my binocs.

Mr and Mrs Cardinal came to visit for a light breakfast.

A little color correction and snipped out some rain spots and stuck food on the plexiglass.

Pixel 7 through cheap binocs through my dirty patio door, SE Pennsylvania

I love Cardinals, and not just because I’m originally from St. Louis. They are loyal birds that aren’t afraid to tough out a brutal midwest winter like some pussy-ass goose.

I don’t get many cardinals here, but the lady cardinal I think is quite pretty. She has the nicest pink streaks and I always recognize her. It always brightens my day when they show up, and they’ve started to take note from my jays on how to get the peanuts in the shell I toss to them.

I’ve settled down in Northern Ohio now, and we always have loads of cardinals in the fall and winter. They were my grandma’s favorite bird and so i always think of her when i see a pair of cardinals and it makes my day a little bit better

We used to have more, but not that many these days. One winter though, it was snowing and there were 6 or 8 males all in the one pine and it was one of the most beautiful sights I’ve seen. I’ll always remember that scene.

    Beautiful!

Would you share what device this is that you’re using? Very curious.

Very interesting. Thank you. I’ve been wanting something similar and haven’t really found anything that works for me yet

It’s a bit clunky, but it seems to work well enough for my needs. I’m not a great photographer, so that helps. 😅

I got it as a gift and I enjoy it overall for my purposes.

I got the gift of a lens that attaches to a phone, but it didn’t fit properly. I’ve yet to replace it, but have been wanting something for some time.

This works reasonably well, and you have a regular functioning phone and binocs when you’re not using them together.

It doesn’t seal tight against the lens, but it works well enough with any of my phone cases on, and the amount of light leakage hasn’t diminished the image quality for me in any way that bothers me.

That’s really cool. You’ll find me pushing my phone against my binos sometimes and I look like a fool and the image has come out foolish half the time. But every once in awhile, you get something really nice. I’d like to maximize that. Haha

I did see a video where a guy was just using some stiff rubber bands to hold the phone snug. He seemed to have success with that.
