For appointments it’s a non-starter for sure. For other “low level” positions I think it’s worth it to make a stink. Lying to the public is one thing but lying in court is another. The more they appear in court the more they get caught in lies and get disbarred or worse.
Their resignation letters are probably already written. Senator Schmitt gets press for ignorance.
