I use Lemmy logged-in on my computer to post and interact, but I read it logged-out on my phone to get a feel for what people are talking about outside of my interests.
Unfortunately, the communities I’ve entered in the block list still show up in the feed.
What gives?

By the way, while logged in, you can switch the user to a guest on the same instance. That way, you can easily switch between a logged-in and logged-out view. I don’t know what it would do to your filters. I guess it won’t help you, but might be usefull anyway.

The block list is per user. No user, no blocklist.

You could just use “all” in your sorting while logged in, and your blocklist will still work.

Got it. I’ll give viewing All a shot.
Seems like the block options should be hidden when not logged-in, or they should be effective.
I’d put in a feature request, but Boost doesn’t appear to be open source?
Maybe I’ll give Sync another shot…

Yeah, there’s no way to access your block list if you aren’t logged in. That’s a lemmy level thing.

Filters are not lemmy side, but (iirc) boost keeps a per account filter list rather than an app wide one, since it supports multiple accounts, and people want discrete filters more than universal ones usually. I may be misremembering, since I don’t use boost often, but that’s what I recall.
