    I absolutely hate telling people I’m good all day on the phone in my customer service voice at work.

    It’s so draining because I’m not good. I’m actually terrible, but I can’t just say that to clients.

      I tell people flat out what’s wrong. Not clients obviously, but everyone else. Throws literally everyone for a loop and you know who actually gives a rats ass, which is nobody.

        See, I don’t really socialize with randos outside of work. I can tell my friends and family that I’m awful, but that doesn’t really do anything because they’re also awful. Therapy can also only do so much for me.

        I used to do that (slightly ND) until I recognized that every time I said I was having a bad day I got a bad response, it’s clear people don’t give a shit at all. at most they want your “bad day” to be entertaining like oh haha not great, I went for a run and blah blah thing happened to me it was so embarrassing

        at the same time I believe it’s just a bad part of culture to have to ask how someone is without actually caring
