WWE legend known as The Undertaker cut his own election promo in a video posted to social media on Friday after pro wrestling star Dave Bautista, known as Bautista, took shots at former President Donald Trump earlier in the week.

The Undertaker, whose real name is Mark Callaway, was seen on a video next to his former WWE colleague Kane, the current mayor of Knox County, Tennessee, whose real name is Glenn Jacobs, and Trump and addressed potential voters about their options come Election Day.

“All right everyone. November 5th – ElectionMania. The choice is yours. You can go with President Trump, Kane and The Undertaker or you can take Kamala Harris, Dave Bautista and Tim Walz. Choose wisely – the nation depends on it,” Callaway said in a TikTok vieo.

“And that should be an easy choice,” Trump added.

The Republican presidential nominee’s appearance with the wrestling greats came after Bautista made a video firing shots left and right at Trump as he expressed his support for Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz for president.

“Fellas, we gotta talk,” Bautista said in part. “A lot of men seem to think that Donald Trump is some kind of tough guy. He’s not. I mean, look at him, he wears more make-up than Dolly Parton. He whines like a baby. The guy is afraid of birds. Donald Trump had his daddy pay a doctor to say his little feet hurt, so he could dodge the draft. Look at that gut. It’s like a garbage bag full of buttermilk.”

His rant was accompanied by various related images and clips of Trump during his presidency and campaign.

In a comment to Fox News Digital on Wednesday, Trump campaign spokesperson Steven Cheung pushed back, calling Bautista a “stone-cold loser” and mocked his WWE career.

Oh, for fuck’s sake. I’m not a huge fan of pro wrestling but I just watched Super Eyepatch Wolf’s video about the Undertaker and got into watching some of his matches, just to find out he’s a POS Trump supporter. What a massive disappointment.

It’s always the ones you most suspect! (Seriously he’s been wearing neo-nazi shirts under the guise of BiKeR ClOtHiNg since the 90s lol)

Sadly a lot of wrestlers are Trumpers, or are at least willing to support him and other cons cause they love paying lower taxes much more than not supporting scumbags. Least most aren’t smoothbrained enough to be this brazenly public about it but Calaway has never been an icon of intelligence.

He’s an old white guy from Texas who espouses the worst of “old school” motorcycle culture… don’t be shocked. Jericho, Kane, probably a dozen or more of your favorites from years past and even now will disappoint you if you know their politics. Enjoy the characters, the people behind them are going to be disappointments.

He even was popular early on in AEW with everyone singing his theme. I mean EVERYONE.

Then he came out with “A little bit of the bubbley” and sold it himself.

Then he came out as a trump supporter. And replied to a tweet bashing him for supporting trump. He then responded that all sales from a little bit of the bubbley were going towards financing trumps 2020 run.

Notice how in the arenas only half the people were singing his song? And chanting for him to retire the past 2 years?

Jericho was my favorite wrestler when I stopped watching back around 2003. I checked him out recently and holy hell, what the fuck happened to him? He is disaster, and cringe as hell now that he’s so old and still doing the same kinda silly stuff

what the fuck happened to him?

Just addressing the wrestling aspect: He kept reinventing himself (successfully) every few years in WWE and then AEW (with some NJPW in the middle), but right now he’s on almost every fucking episode of AEW consistently for the last few years it seems.

Right now a lot of fans are tired of him and Jericho is aware, has acknowledged it tongue-in-cheek on screen, and developed his current character to lean into that fact instead of taking a break.

He’s pulling an x PAC I guess. I was rewatching the attitude era recently and around 2000 you can tell fans are sick of xpac and his unexplainable, constant pushes. People started with xpac sucks chants then went to angry boos, and then settled on indifference and people getting up to go to the washroom during his matches.

Xpac was mid card at best, but kept getting tossed into main events with the Rock, triple h, angle, etc. Matches he had no business being in but was there cause he was the kliq’s little pet

Also, Jericho is kinda starting to remind me of Hogan. The old guy who is hogging air time, despite fans being sick of his shit, and refusing to go away or give up the spotlight. Which is funny cause that’s the kind of old wrestlers that Jericho used to complain about in wcw, now he’s that guy

The sole differences (with the rest being accurate lol) being that Jericho is at least sharing the spotlight. He may be hogging the tv time but he’s also giving Bryan Keith and Cass some things to do and they’ve been solo showcased several times while being part of this storyline/with Jericho. That and Jericho isn’t forcing himself into the main event/title picture.

He desperately wants his TV time and doesn’t wanna go away but he could be worse. We could have an announcement for Jericho vs Mox next week for the title lmao.

Yeah I think the comparison between Jericho & Hogan/X-Pac isn’t quite right. As you note, rather than being an old passed it being pushed as the main event, he’s an old passed it being pushed as a feature mid-carder. He’s definitely not my cup of tea and he’s on TV more than I would care for but it could be a lot worse.

Most of our community members are well aware of how shitty Kane, Undertaker, and various other wrestlers’ political views are.

Donald Trump is in the WWE Hall of Fame for fuck’s sake, it should be no surprise that many current and former WWE talents support him. (Note that I said “many” not “all”. I don’t want to see any witch-hunting.)

If you’re a US citizen, it is vitally important that you vote on November 5th. Please do so. If you have to work, your employer is required by law to allow you voting time during your shift, and to pay you for it.

I’m with you. I grew up in the 80s and 90s and even though I was never super into wrestling it was just part of my childhood. The Undertaker was so cool back then. I’m still not into wrestling and haven’t really thought about it in years but reading about that endorsement was a bit of a gut punch to my inner child.

It’s almost like I was Mankind in 1998 and The Undertaker threw me off Hell In A Cell and I plummeted 16 feet through an announcer’s table or something.

They still hang out and undertaker defends him as if he’s daddy. Same with so many of the older guys. Which is funny cause guys like Mick Foley defend him to the death, but back in the day Mick Foley only had a career cause of people like Jim Cornette and Jim Ross speaking up on his behalf to McMahon who saw nothing in him and didn’t want him in the company

I got over wrestling in the early 90’s when I learned it was fake. I also learned not to raise people on TV up to be heroes or mentors because they always disappoint. Unless it was a journalist, they were pretty good back then. But yea, fake wrestlers doing performative politics is just another show.

Did you know movies and tv shows are “fake” too? Actors are “fake” , but we don’t call them that just to be derogatory. It’s weird how people like to shit on wrestlers. I haven’t watched regularly in 20 years and I never thought it was anything but scripted. But I’ve seen guys die in the ring, so it’s kinda fucked up to call it fake.

I guess it would be like going up to a stunt man and telling him he takes fake hits as if there’s no pain, risk, skill or hard work involved

Edit: someone asked in my PMs. There’s videos out there of wrestlers dying in the ring. The most recent one I remember was Rey Mysterio accidentally killing Perro Aguayo jr. In Mexico. He kicked him in the back, to set up Perro on the second rope for his 619 finisher. Perros head Whiplashed on impact, breaking his neck and killing him.

Yea and I don’t watch that shit either. Movies? TV? streaming? All a waste of time and money. Getting light exercise is way better than holding up dying, lazy, boring industries. I get happiness from doing things. Going to actual shows in ampitheaters. Exercise. Interacting with real humans.

Look, fake is probably harsh. Performative. That’s about it.
