At least they didn’t die a year later from the vax like me. /s

That I have to include the /s when I’m clearly saying that I didn’t die shows how warped our society has become. Got my latest shot on Sunday. First time I didn’t have any side effects the next day, so something’s improving (likely my body’s ability to deal with it).

Yeah I’m so sick of dying every time I have a booster. The funeral costs are getting out of hand.

Real talk though, the Vax does trash me for 24 hours but so does the flu shot. It’s like a speed run of symptoms.

And I’ll take that every time over the real thing as I’ve had both and they were horrendous and took so long to recover from. Truly debilitating illnesses.

At least with the Vax I know it’s coming, I can schedule it around work and life, hunker down and see it out. I hope to be like you and deal with it better in future but even if I don’t, it’s still preferable to getting sick.

Absolutely. I made it two plus years before I got covid and when I did, it was bad for a day and then like a cold for several more. I attribute the vax to the milder response.
