    Quick, someone said “irony” and nobody knows what that is! I’ll vaguely point at a non-specific dictionary as if they were wrong, and therefore I won the debate.

        You mean the bit where you vaguely point at a non-specific dictionary as if they were wrong, and therefore won the debate? Maybe you should stop doing that and people will downvote you less.

          I guess I’m so old that I assume Merriam-Webster is unspoken default. Do you have a different dictionary that you prefer?

              Although the definitions overlap heavily, so you’re not pegged to that one.
