    “It’s OK to feel uncomfortable or provoked while looking at a painting or watching a play, but I worry everything’s being dialed and dumbed down. We’re telling audiences they’re going to be scared before they’ve watched something.”

    I’m not sure he understands the purpose of them. Yeah, it’s ok to be uncomfortable, but you shouldn’t have to be if you don’t want to be. And for many people, discomfort is a gross misnomer for what they may be going through if they’re exposed to disturbing content. A little more empathy might be nice.

    They aren’t for you, pumkin, they are for people who suffered from and are still experiencing trauma. And if seeing a trigger warning spoils anything for you… awww muffin. Did somebody spoil a show for you by being comassionate to others? Oh you want a sooooothie?
