I agree. When you can go back and forth to home that easily (and clearly want to go home), you should just be living at home instead of taking up a valuable spot. I know it’s part of the university experience but there’s clearly a shortage and students can’t find places to live. She’s a kid with a rich mother, we all know her dads job and they’re clearly taking advantage of it all 🤷🏻‍♀️ if she really does go home every weekend, it’ll make this even more sickening because a student who would actually be there 7 nights a week is far more deserving than someone who can go live at 3 other homes whenever they want.

I don’t get this. A lady I work with also did this for her son meanwhile they live in the same town… I asked why of course we have a relationship where we can be honest, and she explained he wanted the “full college experience” meanwhile it’s on her dime and she works so damn hard makes me sad.

I think of kids far from home in a horrible rooming house missing out on making friends or feeling safe.

Just to ease your mind a bit I’m from the area and Guelph is super safe ❤️. I do think it’s really fucking stupid to stay at residence when you have a home 20 minutes away
