Just a new Lemmy instance, still trying to figure out just exactly what it’s going to be. Plan on messing around with a custom lemmy-ui instance, as well as possible bridges / integrations with other services like Mastadon, Matrix Server (bridged w/ IRC, Discord, Telegram, etc…), Custom Laravel Backend, and some cool bots to add some useful functionality.
Make sure you turn on registration applications, otherwise you will get an influx of trolls / automated accounts, and we will probably have to block you until you do.

I think thats just the number of websocket connections, so its possible that someone is browsing the site without login. Or you might have it open on multiple devices or multiple tabs.
