No, and I kind of hate these recent memes for that reason. His joke was a lot more subtle and could as easily be about the fact that the original meme caught on because these guys are so weird, but it wasn’t an outright accusation, and this meme has “couch fucker” in actual quotes, like he actually said that. It would be moronic of Walz to outright call Vance a couch fucker and now there is this meme floating around making it look like he did.

I hate to be a downer but this is toxic.

Edit: to the point where I would seriously question the true intent of the meme.

I’m with you on this one. This sort of thing robs him of the wholesomeness of his persona with a genuine untruth. It’s a big turnoff for some people.

They’re talking about the meme. Walz’s comment was an “if you know, you know” kind of joke. Totally fine and funny. The meme, however, distilled it down to a “direct” quote that he didn’t even say, calling Vance a “couch fucker”–you don’t need to look that up to take issue with it.

I’m not sure I have an issue with the meme, but I see their point.

The Harris/Walz ticket deserves better memes. How come so many that I’ve seen look like they were pulled off of ICANHASCHEESBURGER network??
