The Cost of Living a Decent Life in America is 96,000 Annually
I’m a be real, I’ll probably never make 200k a year. Shit is fucked.
No no no, you’re supposed to make 200k by combining the incomes of you, your heterosexual spouse, your son, and daughter. The kids in the photo look like they’re around 6 or 7, plenty old enough to help around the farm and factories.
Old enough for minecraft, old enough for actual mines.
The children clearly yearn for the mines.
So true!
It would be nice to make the average. 🫠
the average made is much lower than that.
the average amount required to be comfortable is that amount.
the average amount of earnings isn’t enough to be comfortable.
I was referring to the image where it says National Average.
so was I, yes.
I wish I made 96,000 dollars. Is that clear enough?
I’d be happy with half, fuck.
Same. 😵💫
So for those of us not earning a living wage, do we have to submit an application to die, or will they just come and get us when its our turn?
I made less than $10k last year, and spent most of my year living on top ramen that cost less than €1 per pack in a foreign country. But they said, “comfortably”. Their key word is “comfortably”. Are congress members comfortable? We seem to keep them very comfortable.
What country?
I live in America, but spent much of last year in Ireland.
Most people will never make any of these in their lifetimes. Probably not even half that number.
318 comfortably for a family seems kind of low to me?
… what? What do you spend that all on?
Hookers, blow, sports cars, etc. What does comfortable mean to you?
Hahaha, yes.
Every family needs 2.3 cars and enough to keep them gassed up.
So? If we assume 50 cents per mile and a budget of only 5% of those 318k (16 k) $ that means you get to drive 32’000 miles per year and hardly spend anything on your cars. The average spending for mobility is a whooping 16 %, which would be 100’000 miles in this case. The average is 13’500 miles.
