Look at this thing where I said “at this rate, all the Palestinians will be dead before he works his way slowly and gradually around to the idea that maybe he’ll have to do more than a sternly worded phone call with Netanyahu in order for the killing to stop.” and got a bunch of upvotes.
Criticism of Biden is very obviously fine. In many cases it’s wildly popular, because the people here bear no resemblance to the “blue MAGA” model you and your cohort are trying to perfectly organically promote into the discourse. But, in the manner of emotional manipulators everywhere, you are falling back on some objectively false explanation for why people are disagreeing with you. Because, it’s hard to directly argue against what they’re actually saying, but it’s easy to create a fiction where they are being stupid and unreasonable.
Criticism of Biden is fine but I’m seeing criticism without condeming Putin and only like 5 Republicans so you’re a Russian troll!

Edit: I got curious – tineye also found this version, which was also from right before an election, and a little modified. It included Bill and Hillary Clinton, but not Mitch McConnell or John Fetterman, and Biden was a lot less prominent, where he’s pretty front and center in the new one (second only to Netanyahu.) Also, there wasn’t an active genocide at that time to motivate the creation of it, but it still emerged in the same form at around the same point in the election cycle. Maybe I am reading too much into it but I thought it was interesting.

I would put some amount of money on them breaking with the almost unanimous consensus of the US left, and either just saying nothing about the war, or else putting some kind of unusual “both sides” anti-Imperialism-in-general-especially-the-Western-kind material into their rotation around the time the war was starting.
I could be 1,000% wrong about that, but that is currently my guess for what I would see if I looked back through their history. I don’t have an Instagram account but I could make a temp account and poke around at some point.

The point isn’t that Putin needs to be on every list of bad people in the world (although, leaving him off such an extensive list of war criminals is pretty strange).
