“If you watched the Anime you know why this upbeat song is actually severely depressing!”

When CDs were first put into jukeboxes in the 80s, I know someone who played “Revolution 9” like 10 times in a row. It was me.

Always a classic for your bartender friends. Unfortunately, they always know how to turn the volume down.

          There’s a skip button for a reason.

I have a regular who I have to periodically remind not to play what I call “novelty songs.”

It’s like, “Sarge, I know that you genuinely want to listen to Monster Mash, followed by four different James Bond movie theme songs, but you’re killing the vibe here.”

I was curious what his shirt originally said that had everyone terrified. Turns out it was blank and it’s just the fact that he’s old.

I don’t think there’s a whole lot of intersection between Calliope Mori and Hatsune Miku when it comes to music, but I’m not super familiar with Calli’s catalogue, so I could be wrong.

Known as “wyatting” about 15 years ago in the UK, in honor of Robert Wyatt, when they installed the first digital jukeboxes with millions of unskippable songs, some used the opportunity to select the densest, most obnoxious material, which obviously included Mr. Wyatt’s most obtuse pieces… and boy did he have some doozies.

At some pub after a runway show, where designers and models were partying it up, some bloke selected the entirety of Lou Reed’s “Metal Machine Music”. The party dissolved pretty soon after the “tunes” started.

Cultural guerrilla vandalism at its’ finest.

I’m Extremely surprised to see a Cali reference on here. The Picard Maneuver is very cultured I see.

It shouldn’t really be on a Jukebox I think, though End of a Life by MC is one of my favorite songs. It just has so much self and history and weight, plus it sounds great. I dunno. Good music is good music and tastes differ.

Yeah the 20th Imagine Dragons song the rest of the other basic chuds having been playing the past 2 hours is so preferable.

I only like jukeboxes when I have more money than anyone else because most people have shit taste in music
