Last late game to deal with for a while. Tomorrow’s an afternoon game and then we’re back home!
I didn’t stay up for it, but I heard: Jay Jackson pitched 6-up, 6-down in the 9th and 10th innings to the 1st-7th of the Dodgers lineup (they IBBed Peralta). Cabrera pitched a 3-up, 3-down inning as well
Tomorrow’s an off-day, but the bullpen has pitched 10.1 innings in the last 2 days. If Kikuchi’s done well through the lineup twice, I think he’ll get his chance to go through the lineup a third time and pitch 6.0 innings
Nailed it!
I’m interested to see Whit lead off. Bo’s been slumping hard of late - hopefully he gets some hits tonight!
Disappointing loss and a fun game (from what I caught of it) till the bullpen collapsed. Swanson and White together allowed 5 runs in 1.1. IP across the 9th and 10th.
In terms of positives… Whit got a hit and scored in the first inning! Bo got 4 hits and 2 RBI! Luplow looked great in the OF and got a hit! Every batter in the starting lineup got a hit or sacrifice fly! Génesis Cabrera 2.0 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 3 K!!
