      Even if earnings go up in the short term, a collapse in their customer base is eventually going to hit profits. It also affects share prices, since share prices are supposed to reflect the future value of the stock.

        Why do you think it will definitely collapse. Couldn’t their subscriber numbers stabilise somewhere? 2

          It could, but it’s going to be a significant reduction from previous expectations.
