    Also depends a lot on what you’re working with. Selling the same product ten times over makes the manufacturer more money. Which is why modern products are often made not to last, no matter how much you take care of them

      You can always buy the more expensive equipment that lasts longer, but it can also break. $500 for it to last 5-10 years or $50 for it it to last 3-5.

      Sorry, one is far more cost effective than the other. Things are cheap since it’s made with cheap materials to be affordable. It doesn’t mean it can’t also last 10 years, it’s just less likely. But you will almost always save money this way.

        We’re talking less like 500$ vs $50 and more like 150$ vs $50. And good products can last 40+ years, not just a decade
