I draw an arbitrary line at a COVID variant with a death rate around 2x that of seasonal flu (instead of the current 10x-40x death rate). Above the line, masks with increasing measures as cases get worse. Below that, no masks or social distancing.
Never. Sadly the vaccine isn’t enough and there still are more variants to come. So, sadly, masks and such will stay for years
It’s not about vaccination rate it is about hospitalisation rate and death rate.
