Given the rest of the updates, i’ll close my eyes to it. Just disable the menu with a mod, as always, and just forget it was there

Oh, I’m hoping this means paid, as in the modders get paid and not Bethesda…

          Edit: I was wrong…

Modders can get a cut if they are approved by Bethy. At least now the unapproved ones are free

There was a lawsuit around it and Fallout 4 previously because the season pass claimed to give people all of FO4’s paid content under it. Which official paid mods would fall under. After Microsoft took over, the US courts decided they could use arbitration which I assume since this is being reintroduced means they told the arbitrator they would continue to use them if they continue to rule in their favour

Hmm maybe trying to capitalize on the timing of the Netflix series? I can see people who like the series but never played the games to be interested in them now.

It’s amazon prime, not Netflix, but you’re probably right

Totally what’s going to happen. Or just people who haven’t played it in a while and need an excuse to buy it on a new system

Which is pretty pathetic given the numbers of game breaking bugs and head scratching performance issues in Fallout 4 for PC. I guess for Bethesda back in the day, fixing the game for the people that already paid for it wasn’t worth doing.

Nope, most of their Custer base are like heroin addicts. Even if its stepped on and cut with ground up to light, they will still buy it. So why bother.

On April 23 Fallout: London will be released and you’re way better off with that if you want to have a fallout experience

I hope Fallout London won’t have to push their release date back to cope with this change. If Skyrim updates are any indication, this might not bode well.

Low key I’ve been checking in on Fallout London every now and then. I have no expectations, as these projects seem to fail most of the time before thay can even release, but if they actually manage to finish it, I’ll definitely play it. Another one in keeping on my radar is Morrowind in Skyrim, that one is in a much earlier stage though.

    “next-generation PC” whatever that means.

I do hope that there never will be a next generation of PCs, i am quite happy with my old-gen Ship-of-Theseus-PC, where I occasionally replace some parts.
