It’s a bridge with a building on top of it by that point.
It’s also fucking terrifying. Imagine if there’s a pileup and a bunch of pillars get hit. Now you have to worry about your office collapsing on top of the already horrific disaster.
Like, bridges and overpasses can collapse if there’s a major accident under them that affects the supports. Imagine that but with a whole ass building.
Hot take: all roads with this many lanes should be in tunnels, under buildings where appropriate, this is a great start 🙏
I really don’t think roads this wide should even exist. There are better ways of transporting people and freight. Two rails maybe.
