    Its a shame he stepped down. It seems he really cared about improving the state of pesticide use and research but was held back by beauracracy (and probably corporate profits). Whoever replaces him will probably be complacent in letting pesticide companies continue to poison our land, water, and population while lining their pockets with pesticides lobbying money and a tax payer funded salary.

      It’s not good that industry has so much influence over government policy, whether it’s the environment, Health Canada, the income tax system… all of it.
