The secret is to stop using Reddit, so you don’t know which posts are reposts.
what about the giant watermark on all of them
I just blocked the one guy who dumped his whole reddit post archive it seems
That’s me!

Well I reposted a lot of memes, it would take a lot of time to remove that much watermarks.
it’s almost as if there was a 196 community on reddit as well
no way?!!
I have 5 years worth of shitposts stored in my phone. Where else am I gonna dump them
Sweetie I tried making original memes and feedback was controversial as fuck. so yea now I just copy paste. Mods always ask me to.claridh what my memes mean, ready to fucking ban me bc they think I’m probably a bunch of bad things even though I have like tens of thousands of comments on leftist content on Lemmy.
All of them were bangers, the last one was quite odd/deep fried. So I think mods would be right to question that one. You cannot rely on a user checking your account before going “fuck this post”.

Reddit reposts but 75% gayer.
The internet is awash with reposts from the same three or four sites. This doesn’t seem unusual, especially for a smaller platform.
The watermarks, y’all! That’s how we know and that’s why it’s bad.
Those watermarks are so obnoxious. I wish people would turn that setting off if they’re going to save and share them; or at least crop it out. I guess it’s a pet peeve of mine, lol. It irritates me more than it should.
Sorry, I haven’t been stealing from Tumblr like I should.
Which ones are reposts?
Herr you go
This person just dumped a whole bunch of saved memes… So yeah, I also was kinda bewildered.
Wow! I can’t believe I missed that!
Thanks for filling me in.
Literally look at the photos people are posting. People are leaving Reddit banners on the pictures after taking them
Edit: it’s actually just the gregortactac fellow filling this place with Reddit advertising in the form of trashy memes.
Nothing inherently wrong with reposts from Reddit. It can’t be expected that a small community as Lemmy, would need to create OG content primarily.
Cool so im not missing anything.
