This game just wasn’t fun. I loved DL1 and played through it just before the launch of DL2. It still holds up really well. The sequel just missed the mark in pretty much every respect. Such a bummer too. I was really excited for it.

Yeah, likewise. Dying Light was one of the biggest pleasant surprises of my gaming life. Went in expecting a Dead Island ripoff and ending up loving every bit of it. Dying Light 2 just didn’t capture my interest in the same way, and I’m not sure why. I think the setting isn’t quite as good tbh. Still fun though.

Even though at launch we realized that some of the bold design decisions we’ve made didn’t hit the bullseye, we managed to improve all of our mechanics and add all of the requested features to prove to players that Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a serious contender.

those change and mechanic difference aside…why is the key binding not working? Mouse 4 & 5 can be binded but cannot be used, and i also heard some secondary action is hard-coded as well, making binding some of those action that supposed to work together with another action non-functional. And the mouse lag is horrible, even at 60fps the mouse lag is significant, making combat against fast enemy(like the tutorial zombie that leap around) simply impossible. It’s a literally unplayable port, the “reloaded” didn’t fix shit.

Good thing i get to experience this with steam free weekend, would’ve been stressful to do it in 2 hours refund time limit.

I’m a couple hours into the free weekend and the NPCs just won’t shut up. Give me a summary I don’t need a 5 minute discussion every time I return to base or during a mission, it makes the mission very tedious. Is this a talking simulator or an open world zombie game?
