Just bought a Pixel 7a (for Graphene OS), but looking for a good, solid phone case. What are some brands, that are worth buying from that are not cheap knock offs? Appreciate any tips

Another vote for Spigen. I’ve had their cases on my last couple of phones, they hold up incredibly well.

The finish on my current one is pretty shot, but it’s near three years old now and I haven’t been kind to it. Structurally it’s completely fine.

+1 for Spigen! It isn’t fancy but does the job. I’ve had Spigen cases for all of my phones since the Galaxy S2. Never had a cracked screen and I don’t use a screen protector.

+1 to Spigen. I have a case on my pixel 5 that has a nice little kickstand.

Spigen Tough Armor series. I’ve had one on my last three pixels, and they are the only three phones I haven’t destroyed.

My latest case is Spigen. I figured it was some crap random Chinese brand (where they make the name with a random letter generator). Well, whatever they are, my case is fantastic. Two years, zero signs of wear, protected the Pixel 4a from numerous drops. Definitely getting another for the next phone.

dBrand has goof ball marketing but excellent customer service and their Grip cases are fantastic.

+1 for dbrand. Both times I’ve contacted support they’ve immediately sent another but also have tried to fix the issue (first one was a bubble that showed up under the skin on my grip case, they sent a replacement skin and also asked me to try hitting it with a hair dryer. Second one they sent me a 7 pro case instead of an 8 pro. They sent me a replacement and told me I could keep the other)

Yeah I have the dBrand Grip on my Pixel 7 Pro and it’s very high quality. Very durable, perfectly shaped to the phone, and even has lowered sides to account for the stupid curved screen etc. Never been disappointed with purchases from them.

I have the PD non wireless stick on car mount and can confirm it’s expensive for what it is, but it does look and feel premium. Holds my S23u well, to.

The nature of the “phone case” product class is that it’s small, and made of cheap materials. There will be good and bad quality products at all companies, and likely many of them will be made in similar or the same factories.

Otterbox. They are rugged as hell but make your device very bulky/clunky imo. If your goal is protection, check them out.

Came here to suggest a competitor to OtterBox called Beetle Defender, because it’s the same style for rugged protection, but much better quality. My OtterBox cases eventually stretched out and the rubberized part no longer really stayed on. The Beetle case, however, is still as good as it was the day I bought it, and it cost less.

Otterbox used to make really good products, but they’re just riding on brand recognition now with mediocre quality

If you want something with design options, Devilcase has good high quality cases, good shock absorbing edges. It’s my main go to anymore.

I’ve been using Caseology (specifically this one). I don’t put a ton of wear on my phone, but it’s survived a few drops. Been using for well over a year, and used my previous one (for my Pixel 4a) for a few years before that.

RhinoShield has been all I will ever order for the last, maybe 10 years or at least as long as I can remember. Dropped numerous times on cement or other floors with no issues

I’ve been really happy with the Torras cases I’ve used on my P7P and iPhone 13 Pro Max. Will probably buy another for my next case.

Wow this one looks very nice plus seems very practical in terms of the additional attachments one can buy. Will defo have a good look at this one, and hope they ship to my country 🙃
