Thought so… This is really a dumb move by Sony… Unless they’re planning on adding their own native support for this stuff. I mean, PS5 (not sure about 4) has minimal support for mice and keyboards; just not a helluva lot of games that use it (COD is the only thing I’ve played that actually uses mouse and keyboard support for more than menus and chat).
For anti-competitive practices by players in multiplayer games, I feel like the game itself should be restricting these; not the console, since there’s absolutely no reason to limit this stuff for non-multiplayer things.
It’s a pretty smart move to protect the vast vast vast majority of their customers from bad experiences, five people might be impacted who have legitimate uses for the device can use one of the other mouse&keyboard converter devices that don’t have built in scripting to cheat in multiplayer games
