Governments should start their own instances.

That mass murder in Nova Scotia where the guy impersonated a cop… the RCMP had only been updating the public via twitter for the first day or two and most of the residents of the small communities impacted didn’t even fucking use twitter. So there’s that.

I was at my wits end trying to figure out information the other day while stuck in multiple traffic gridlocks due to highway 5 closure.

Drive BC sent everyone down 5a towards 3 despite 3 being under construction with single Lane alternating traffic.

Probably should have sent everyone to hwy 1 instead despite technically being a longer route. Was there worse construction/conditions there? No idea, but it took 3.5 hours to get through Princeton. It was an absolute nightmare.
