Welcome new members! Please take a second to read the rules located in the community sidebar.

We are doing our best to appeal the Reddit ban. In the meantime, we thought it might be nice to have a new safe space to snark and have made lemmy.ca our new home.

Please bear with us while we figure the new site out and please let any former TBP Reddit users know we are here!

Does anyone know if there’s an app for Lemmy? I can’t find one but I’m bad at this sort of thing!

Others have provided a few of them and anything you choose is fine.
All I wanna add is how functional it is in just a browser.
Reddit was absolutely insufferable on mobile, but lemmy is different.
The mobile website is fine and I love having multiple tabs a bunch of features that are just basic web browser functionality again like multiple tabs, adblocker, favorites, etc.

There’s even a few different web front-ends, here’s the ones available on lemmy.ca:

There are quite a few apps actually, a number of the devs making Reddit apps switched to Lemmy when the protests happened.

You can see a list on this website: https://www.lemmyapps.com/

Since there are a lot of them, you can select the platform you are on (ex. Android/iOS) and then sort by downloads. You can always switch it up later

I use Boost for lemmy. There are a bunch though don’t be afraid to try more than one. Also, welcome aboard

I am using the Thunder app and it made navigating this new (to me) site significantly easier. Looks pretty similar to reddit on this app
