Watching vegan documentaries (50.9 percent) topped the list of best methods for encouraging new vegans, ahead of books and articles (20.3 percent), talking to friends (17.1 percent) and family (11.1 percent), and public speakers (10.7 percent).

              So there’s a message, but I can only hear it via a specific medium, with no summary provided. Both a great message, and great messenger, I’m sure… But that’s a little too cult-ey for my tastes.

              I just want to point out that if you truly feel deeply and strongly about your cause, there are two ways you can go about communicating that message.

              Impartially, objectively, scientifically, with data to back up your arguements.

              Or, yknow, you can be manipulative and play on emotions. As we see here. It’s not even a robust argument or counter. Exploiting how, for whose ends? There is so much nuance to the stance you are trying to take, and you’re not going to change any minds worth changing, without acknowledging that.
