That is sad - the crinkle paper version sounds nicer. It’s also sad how because the environmental cost of plastic is not at all factored into its cost, plastic is cheaper than product, and so in many cases shrinkflation is also worse for the environment

Needlessly larger boxes means fewer items fit on a truck, which means more trucks needed to transport the same amount of product to store shelves.
