Don’t take it too seriously, the option is very open. The Liberals are making the same tough talk because no one goes into an election talking about how they’re going to lose. If the next election were to result in a similar HoC makeup then another supply and confidence deal will absolutely be on the table.
That seems like a politically unwise thing to say. Better to keep your options open, I’d have thought.

He’s of the opinion that the NDP is gaining enough popularity to at least overtake the Liberals.
