No idea what the strain was, unfortunately. It was nice though! The lotus didn’t seem to add or remove from the experience but it’s nice in the eyes

I found a few other “cannabis” communities but nothing very active yet. I was also secretly hoping there would be a “trees” one though!!
Damn lol I just did the math and that would be 1.75 oz! Not an insane amount but definitely a lot (for me) in a single month.
I think all of these “limits” are inherently arbitrary. I would imagine their goal is to roughly separate consumers from sellers? Like if you’re buying more than 50g a month it’s more likely that you’re not consuming it yourself and selling it to others? Just a guess!
Thanks for sharing all of this! I’ve always wanted to grow my own and love seeing the variety of ways other people do it.
Mostly vape dry herb. Love a good joint though.
I have a lot of different “devices” but for me that’s part of the appeal! Sometimes I’m in the mood for a specific kind of vape or I get nostalgic for using a bong and will get one of those out for a weekend :)
Good on you for making the right choice for yourself! Weed and the community will still be here if/when you return ❤️
I think that because Lemmy is federated it has a strong defense against becoming Voat. Sure, there will be some instances that pop up that allow/tolerate that shit but then other Lemmy instances can just block them!
It’s a fun project that’s worth trying yourself once or twice. For me it was a huge learning experience but ultimately too much work to maintain so I ultimately went to a paid email service.
This is the part that blows my mind!
Just commenting to increase engagement! Love federated services and hope they really take hold and replace the crap system we have now
I think they’re just riffing on the “how do i quit vim” joke :)
