I already looked into Sepia Search and didn’t find an API but I’ll have a look at New Pipe’s code. Thanks for the hint!
Yes, but somehow people still love it. And that although everybody rants about high rents. I don’t get it.
The state where I live was at over 120% in 2016. It’s no magic, you just have to do it.
I’m running Sway and use flatpak without problems. Do you have an example?
Projects like Fedora Silverblue head in that direction, don’t they?
AFAIK, it integrates well with GNOME Software.
I meant copying Text inside the PDF and I don’t think files allows printing.
Ok, I found the search function now. I don’t know how I missed it. But still printing and copying would be nice features for a PDF viewer.
For tge second app disabling that option helped but it is quite slow and unstable compared to others and it seems like it doesn’t support encrption. But it’s still my favorite ebook reader.
I’m also using PDF Reader Plus but it sadly does not support copying.
Is this one free software?
In the first one I didn’t find the search function the last time I tried it. I will try again with the latest version. The second one I’m actually using too for ebooks and it is a very nice app for that purpose. But for PDF files it seems to do some conversion and because of that PDF files often do not look as expected.
This doesn’t allow copying, sharing or printing.
It doesn’t allow copying, searching or printing as far as I know.
What I use and the best I found is:
https://f-droid.org/packages/com.gsnathan.pdfviewer
Unfortunately it doesn’t allow copying or searching in PDF files so I’m also looking for something better.
I would pay them on a regular basis if they’d remove Pocket, Google, etc. as soon as I log in with my Firefox account.
I don’t like any DE. IMHO, DEs go against the KISS principle.
As you cannot know if they are able to decrypt it, I would hedge my bets and just assume they can.
Another reason to disable it:
