There are a few books and series that I go back to every couple of years - they’re my old dependables when I want to sink into a story that I know I’ll enjoy.

Nice Berrios
It’s all good - wrapped my head around how the language stuff works. :). Thanks for asking and thanks for doing what you’re doing!
Leaving this here in case someone else has the same problem, but under settings I had misunderstood “Warning: If you deselect Undetermined, you will not see most content.”.
In my case I had to deselect it - just wiped it out using the x on the right.
The Twice Born by Pauline Gedge. I used to love her books when I was younger and this trilogy sat on the shelf for a lot of years until I finally cracked it open on vacation the last week. There’s something that hits right for me reading fiction about ancient Egypt while lying in the summer heat.
I used to. I’m also a music nerd and when I started commuting, I’d wear my headphones with the volume low to offset the stress of traffic and stuff and just make the journey more enjoyable. But after a few years, I enjoy the sounds of the city and nature around me now.
For me it was sitting in traffic watching people on their bikes around me in Toronto. I had biked everywhere as a kid and for me too it was the best way to get around in university, but as an adult I got caught in the rat-race car-commute grind. I’d be driving to get downtown and right near me would be people on their bikes in the summer. At stop lights or whatever I found myself staring at them wishing I was on a bike, remembering how free it felt when I was younger. Took me a few weeks to muster up the courage, and once I did I couldn’t believe it took me that long. :). Wouldn’t have it any other way now!
