It does, however it goes up in smoke sometimes as well.

Why are you complaining? They are building much needed housing in Canada, aren’t they?? /s
Call it a plan, call it common sense, I don’t care as long as it’s actually being done. So far, there have been lots of talks about this emergency but no real action on the housing front.
Checking - Tangerine
Savings - Tangerine or EQbank
Credit cards - Tangerine, Brim, Amex
Investing - Questrade
I also use a credit union’s services for all the same services.
I’ve mostly kept with free online or cheap accounts. Was with a big bank before but didn’t like the fees, and generally big banks have old and clunky web interfaces.
I do feel like managing this many accounts is a pain, and sometimes I do think about a one big bank solution. But, I can’t justify the fees.
No way he waits another year without a trophy, aging to 31, just for a free move to United to have a chance to win something. And Tottenham letting him go for free??
At least with Bayern, that’s a free league cup and competition in Champions league.
I’m sure there’s quite a few politicians that are “concerned” about this situation…
Either I’m reading more about shootings and killings or it seems like violence has significantly increased post COVID. Sounds like we’ll be breaking records by the end of the year at this pace.
“But, I hate the federal interference into my affairs and so do other premiers. Can that jerk in Ottawa stop interfering?”
Fucking comical…
Let’s be real, BoC has OCD and wants to bring to a nice round number of 5%.
It’s gonna be hard for him to come down from that 350k/week salary, so maybe he’s gonna go to Saudi Arabia like others have?
I don’t think I’ve ever seen rumors of other clubs wanting him while he was at United. So not sure if there is a line at all.
I’ve heard about this before, this is unbelivebly uncompetitive! Sounds like something the Consumer Affairs should look at.
Can’t build wealth when half or more of the income goes towards rent or that 6% 1million mortgage.
Wealth disparity increasing, cost of housing increasing, GDP/capita decreasing, productivity decreasing. This is not the “The Great Reset” that I was envisioning after COVID19. I was dubious of course, but I really thought there’s a chance of more progressive policies. But instead we just have the feds subsidizing electric vehicles tech.
From the report:
“There are currently more than 1.25 million potential homes in Ontario’s municipal development pipeline, slightly the Province’s target of building 1.5 million homes by 2031. However, the CMHC estimates an additional 1.85 million units (2022) would be needed in Ontario beyond what is already being built or in the pipeline to restore housing affordability.”
Happy to see the community of those concerned growing. Also surprised to see Remax support the 15-min city, that’s suspicious of them, but nonetheless good to see.
Sounds like you need to write for The Beaverton.
There was plenty of money invested into wars and oil extraction. C’mon!
You’d think somewhere after few years they’d figure it was a bad idea to leave affordable housing building to private sector. But nah, it took 30 years to figure it out. Makes you wonder how long it will take to fix it? We’ll be talking about housing shortages and homelessness for years to come.
Anybody excited about the new simulator?
Gotta say that when Mike says modern UI, I’m not that impressed. Feels like us electrical guys always get some of the worst CAD/sim UI designs compared to mech, civil etc. With few exceptions like Altium which imo has a great modern UI.

Also, they assume that employers will be happy to reduce the hours worked while keeping the same wages. That’d be wonderful but unrealistic.
