The thought of the possibility to just stand right there, feeling almost exactly like here on earth (ignoring the necessary protective equipment) is mindblowing.

18·1 year agoI think you nailed it. It comes down to usability and user experience. Migrating from Reddit and not knowing shit about fuck, I obviously choose the largest sounding instance (.world). I still haven’t understood the whole thing yet, but the novelty is exciting and I’m willing to learn. Mass adoption needs a more streamlined experience though.

The thing is: For most people and situations cables never corrode so badly that somebody would hear any difference.
Migrated from ProTools to Reaper. The feature set is fantastic, also the price. The UI is a mess, but you get used to it. I also couldn’t stand AVIDs whole licensing process anymore.
