Title is extremely misleading, here’s a more accurate one after having read the article.

“Scientists document self-propelling oxygen decline in the oceans from millions of years ago and note that it is not a risk today because of environmental factors.”

I really want to read up on some the studies that they were talking about in this article but they didn’t appear to cite any sources. Anyone know where they got the numbers from?

People are so bad with fallacious logic, and this post is a prime example.

Yeah I struggle with this. There are certainly some massive systemic problems with economic inequality and the range of outcomes that people experience… but this seems like an example of someone voluntarily taking a big risk and it not paying out.

Then at the very end they include lip service warning about that reality.

Ok pro tip for getting rid of your grease that doesn’t assume you have infinite containers lying around or make you wait forever for it to solidify.

Put a sheet of aluminum foil down over your drain so it creates a cup. Then pour your grease in that cup. Then drop an ice cube in if you feel like it.

Then just lift the edges and twist the top of your foil and put it in the trash.

Exactly what happened here. I’m not a big bowling fan and don’t go very often, but Bowlero bought up every spot in town and hiked up the prices. Shocked me last time I went and definitely turned me off the idea of going again.

Yeah I am married to an autistic person and they think that they are being explicit and clear but are absolutely not. It harms their relationships all over the place and they are constantly thinking less of other people over it.
