Just like anything else, this kind of disaster is very unlikely and is sensationalized when they happen. It’s like being worried you’ll be hit by a meteorite.

Trailers get posted around, and I saw the trailer for this before Inside Out 2. Plus I saw a poster at the theater.

Anecdotal, but I’ve found that it has spectacular adblock capability. uBlock Origin + the browser’s native adblocking mean I never even see a specter of an advertisement, especially now that YouTube is going hog wild. Great browser, very customizable, low resource use.

Maybe it was just family physically in the room? You could monitor the air composition with a video feed from elsewhere, even just a room over.

EDIT: Ok just read through the article:

So he wasn’t present or nearby, but someone else from the company was.

Also this bit sticks out to me (emphasis mine):

People will often only hear slang in this context and have no idea it relates back to sex at all. This comic is very true to life. I was definitely the kid that used terms without knowing their true meaning.

Also the character in the comic may well be under 12
