Del Rio? Without a doubt, but that’s not why he was fired LOL. He was fired due to a combination of losing the locker room and Mark knowing he could get Gruden.

Disappointing loss, but that went much better than I expected. They were the better team today and our team has some learning curves, but if we can hang with the best then anything is possible. Depending on how we finish and how we perform against the Chiefs, AP should be the permanent coach. The team always looks prepared and ready to play with him.
All the props to Graham and the defense, what they did against that offense is spectacular.
I have been impressed with Hardegree, but today he was not it. Let’s see if he can learn from this and mature, he is an extremely young OC and playcaller, there will be hiccups.
AOC is cool, but he is not a franchise QB. Franchise backup or bridge QB, yes. But the day that we get a Stroud I will be ecstatic.
It hurts more when you aren’t expecting to win and then they get your hopes up only for it to still end in a loss, but after reflection we stand a chance in any game left on the schedule, and if we can split with the Chiefs and win out the rest of the schedule minus one game, then we can make the playoffs depending on how the rest of the AFC works out.
I like this move. He was a really good player that was supposed to be the Pats next great corner, but he got into some personal issues. If he can put those behind him and continue to work hard and improve then he can be really good. If not, then so what, he costs us nothing and we cut him.
Pretty great so far. Has played to his players strengths, set up plays, countered defenses, etc. i am really impressed by him. Depending on how he finishes, I would love to roll with him and AP.
I am really liking Hardegree right now. Once again he showed that he can gameplan for specific opponents, masks weaknesses, and counter off of things that he’s already shown the defense, as well as just having some interesting and creative calls and formations in general.
Mayer is my guy. He has the potential to be a top 5 TE
Without reading, based on what I saw it is a lot of zone runs, which is what Jacobs excels at and is easier on the offensive line.
More empty set spread formations.
Countering off of things that McDaniels never countered off of, like everytime Meyers lined up in line they knew he was coming to crack block and they would attack Jacobs, so Hardegree called the sweep to Meyers which resulted in a 17 yarf TD run (I stole that one from TDL LOL)
Interesting and creative formations like Meyers lined up at FB
More play action, especially play action off of the same exact looks they already showed running the ball.
It’s only been one game, but Hardegree actually looks like he pays attention to what defenses are seeing on film and counters against it, as well as gameplanning specifically for teams. I can’t remember the last time the Raiders had a playcaller like that.
People might think it’s just that teams don’t know his tendencies yet, but it looks like he actually knows what he’s doing.
Yeah but the way I view it is that he should and would have had the opportunity to fix that mistake had he not lost the locker room
