I feel like you haven’t experienced 30C+ with 90%+ humidity because it caused a condo full of ~1000 able bodied people to collectively lose their minds against the condo board when the building AC failed mid summer.

Toronto/surrounding region is definitely not a cool climate. AC is 100% necessary starting in May/June through to October nowadays
Living in a condo during winter in Toronto was pure hell. We’d have to leave windows and doors open all night to stay cool otherwise the temperature would easily reach 24C, it was insane
They lack the ability to apply critical thought and effort towards real problems and it’s apparently an appealing political trait for the average American voter

Fair enough, in that case it definitely wouldn’t be worth it. And yeah the independence and cool project aspects of the PhD are appealing, but it really does suck ass and ruin you mentally for a long period of time until you finally achieve your goal (failing is also a possibility)

What’s your field? People love talking shit about getting a PhD and that they’re pointless, but in some fields they’re essential for career growth.
Source: got MSc, got job, saw that career would be hampered by not having PhD. Went back and got PhD, got great job, huge salary increases on the horizon
I completed my chemistry PhD with the sole purpose of landing a job in big pharma (which I did). The curve is accurate with regard to my experience

Being able to cast seamlessly from Chrome to Chromecast is the only major issue I’ve had since switching to Firefox. It’s possible with Firefox and it works 99% of the time but it feels a little clunky. Completely worth it though overall and not a dealbreaker
The main issue you’ll have with the TSA in this case is that you’re using logic
