I’m putting a tablet in my car because I want a giant screen for navigation and engine management software. Tweaking fuel maps, reading data from various sensors like oil and intake temp, calculating MPG, etc.

FWIW I’m not replacing my stereo and A/C controls; I need my physical buttons. I’m simply ripping out the outdated factory navigation to replace it with something modern, with more functionality that will get regular updates. Best of both worlds.

(And yes I’m aware that Android Auto is a thing but again I don’t want to replace the stereo with a screen so I’m taking this route instead.)

Yes I like cars, computers, and video game history, YouTube, but I like other things too, you know. I wish there were a way to view other people’s YT homepages so that I can find something new to watch.

Depends on whether the batteries were hooked up in either series or parallel. Later GameBoys only needed 2 batteries but required the same voltage, so I’m guessing that the OG GB is wired in series-parallel.

So in other words, you need at least two batteries to be good for this to work in the OG GB. Later editions need both batteries to hold a charge to reach 3V.

I sure hope not cause GTA Online is trash if you want to do anything other than Free Mode. I got so sick and tired of all the loading screens, disconnects, and empty lobbies.

Even when they apparently “fixed” the loading issue, all it did was speed up the connection to Free Mode. Hosting/joining a mission still takes ages and nobody ever joins any of my games anymore so I gave up and went to FiveM full-time. If that gets shut down by anti-cheat then I’m going back to GTA IV. Cops N’ Crooks is more fun than anything GTA Online has to offer, anyway.

Air fryer, automatic pressure cooker, and electric smoker: three appliances that every home cook should own to step up their meal game. Your food will taste so much better.

(I mean you haven’t lived until you’ve had ribs that were smoked for 2 hours, stuck in the instant pot for 20 minutes, and then finished off in the broiler or on the grill. No other method tops this technique. Or birria that was pressure cooked instead of the traditional stove method. And now I want ribs and tacos birrias.)
