I understand the substance of your post comes from hate and, fair, bitterness at the hate Dak has gotten in the past for interceptions. I don’t like it but I can at least respect your rage.

The MVP will go to the QB on the #1 Team, like pretty much always.
How can Lamar be MVP when the team’s success is entirely due to their defense?
But I mean - look who they played against. You’d have a shot at those numbers.
Lamar, really? He impacts defense in ways other QBs can’t? Since when?
He’d need to continue to produce at this rate and beyond against good teams once the Cowboys schedule starts including more of them.
But not Stroud’s most recent pace of 3 INTs in a game you mean.
Man Hurts gets no respect with football fans outside Philly. It’s sad.
Hurts has 13 consecutive wins against teams with winning records, breaking a tie with Peyton Manning and Vinny Testaverde for the most in NFL history.
Since the stat was first tracked in 1991, Hurts is the only quarterback with five straight victories when his team trails by double digits (streak at seven). Drew Brees, Peyton Manning, Philip Rivers, and Vinny Testaverde each have four straight wins when their team trails by 10-plus points – tied for second on the all-time list.
Hurts has a .389 win percentage when trailing by 10-plus points, the second-best mark in the Super Bowl era (Patrick Mahomes is first with .560). Hurts is 8-11 when trailing by 10-plus points in his career, having a better win percentage than Tom Brady (.378) and Joe Montana (.370) – third and fourth people on the list.
What Hurts is accomplishing is unprecedented, as he’s 26-2 in his last 28 starts. The Eagled are 9-1 in consecutive seasons for the first time in franchise history as a result.
Purdy revenge Voodoo from the NFC Champ game. Fuck.
Cowboys fans out in droves on this sub after beating the Giants but I didn’t see their flairs much after losing to the Eagles. Weird.
Eagles have like the 26th worst pass defense in the league to be fair. And he lost.
I’m sorry but Lamar’s only impressive game this year was against Detroit. The stats don’t support him as MVP. The Ravens are world beating potential because of their insane defense.
Except his fumble that cost his team a big game in Germany and several dropped passes against the Eagles that sealed their fate.
Also the Ravens are winning because of defense. Team Statistical Rankings RUSHING PASSING OVERALL Off. 160.3 (1st) 221.3 (20th) 369.0 (6th) Def. 91.9 (8th) 203.9 (6th)
Ravens have the 5th most interceptions. T-4 most fumble recoveries. Giving up lowest PPG to opponents.
He’s under 2000 yards and only broke 300 yards once this year. 4 games without a touchdown pass.
Also the AFC East was historically bad for the last 20 some years so the Pats almost always got 6 easy wins a year.
I believe Brady also had one of the best offensive lines in the league for most of his career
One thing that complicates this and to remember is that if your offensive is really good it makes you defense better in some cases. They get to rest longer between possessions. If you score often or have a big lead, the other teams offense needs to be more desperate, throw more, force more plays, stray from their game plan. Just a thought to add to what is a pretty complex overall analysis.
Bill was never a good coach but a good cheater. That doesn’t produce a good coaching tree.
I’m just confused how the QB of a team who is winning because of their elite defense should get an MVP award.
